Attention, Montford Point Marine Veterans who served multiple periods of active duty! There's a significant update regarding your education benefits under the GI Bill that you need to be aware of.
A recent Supreme Court decision established the Rudisill Rule, which could allow veterans who qualified for both the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) and the Post-9/11 GI Bill due to multiple service periods to access up to 48 months of combined education benefits!
Previously, many veterans in this situation were limited to a total of 36 months of benefits. This new ruling has the potential to provide you with additional educational opportunities you've earned through your dedicated service.
